The Renfrew Tennis Club
In 1981 the Renfrew Tennis Club officially started play on four (4) brand new hard courts at Ma-Te-Way Park. These courts were a joint venture of the Town of Renfrew and the Renfrew Tennis Club, with additional funding provided from provincial grants and a substantial donation from the Lions Club. Over the years these courts have been resurfaced three times and most recently in June 2022 the facilities were rebuilt as part of the Ma-Te-Way recreation complex construction. A more modern facility with five (5) tennis hard courts and four (4) pickleball courts. These courts have provided thousands of hours of enjoyment to our residents and those of neighbouring municipalities, as well as visitors to the community.
